Recently came across this website... Quite interesting.. Why? Because the owner of this website actually posts interesting, funny but sacarstic email exchanges that he had with other people, including one asking him to design a poster to help find a lost cat (he's a designer btw)... It's interesting to read how he can come up with such lame but funny emails to reply the other person regardless of what the person says.

What a dramatic ending to my day! Met my uni clique for dinner today, and after dinner, we decided to go Starbucks for a drink. My friend went to buy coffee, and after she came back, she realised that she had left her wallet at the counter, so she went back to look for it. This was when some witnesses in the shop mentioned that they saw someone taking the wallet. A few of us gave chase, and in the end, after much drama, we got the wallet back. It was really a new experience and eye-opener for me. And really kinda exciting too! But once is enough... hahaha...

Recently there are a few dates that i'm looking forward to.... Outing with my hall clique, overnight with sistas, and also, two important dates that i shall not share here...

The outing with my hall clique will probably be the last outing together before Chrisa starts work, and maybe after that it'll be hard for everybody to be free for an outing like that... So i'm especially looking forward to this outing which carries a lot of meaning...

Overnight with sistas is sth that we haven't done even though we've known each other for a long time. It'll be fun going drinking with them, and hanging around with each other through the night, talking to each other about everything and doing random stuffs...

Of course, and two important dates this month... Can't wait for these two dates...

One more reason why i'm looking forward to these events? The company of someone dear!!

First movie... Confucius... Enjoyed the show a lot... Though the characters in the movie were speaking in ancient chinese that I could not understand half the time... Thank god for subtitles... lol... But the plot and the visuals were rather good... Looking forward to the next movie... "Remember Me" maybe?

Today is the first day of Chinese New Year. As usual, I went to my grandma's house, and was there the whole day.... It was rather boring for me since there were not really any people of similar age... I took today to think of something...

I thought about it today... There's something in my heart that I really wanna know, something that has been bothering me for really damn long... But I just don't know how to ask... Maybe I think too much, but the signs keep telling me otherwise... And I'm at a crossroad, not knowing what to do... Should I continue, or should I just find out the answer and put a stop to everything? I really do not know... Hopefully I will know what to do soon...

This is a super random post, just to post something on my blog, since someone kept saying that I haven't been updating my blog... hahaha...

Anyway not much has happened recently... Whole holiday it has been IHG, IHG and more IHG.... Other than the one week spent in Bangkok, IHG has taken up most of the time.... Not that I'm complaining though... It's my favourite time of the year....

Bangkok was super fun... Bought really a lot of things, walked a lot, ate a lot... Things are really cheap and sometimes nice there.... I wouldn't mind going there again if I have the chance....

Huiyi left for Sweden yesterday... It will be a long 6 months.... But hope she enjoys herself there... Afterall it was what she had always wanted...

For some of you who know, recently has been good for me for some reasons!! :)

Christmas!!!

Today is Christmas Day, but here I am, spending time at home.... Not complaining though... Finally can get to have a good rest instead of going out everyday or going for trainings and matches....

Went to Marilyn's house yesterday for the annual christmas gathering... Had lots of food and lots of fun, not forgetting the enjoyable company! But towards the end i was really tired out from the lack of rest the past week, so I went home rather early compared to last year.

Supposed to go out today, but one group cancelled plans to go to Dawen's house, and evening's dinner got cancelled as well due to some reason... But oh wells, might as well have a good rest at home! hahaa....

This has been a rather peaceful christmas for me, though I have a lot of invites, but I'm not going for some...

Anyway, Merry Christmas everyone!! And have a happy holiday!!!

You Know What I'm Thinking?

The radio station seems to be able to read my mind... Listening to the radio, I heard the DJ talking about some issue, and it seems to be the issue that is bothering me all the time... Hearing what other people said about it, I had some advice, but still not enough for me to really decide on what to do.... Maybe I'm indecisive, maybe I'm a coward, but it really seems very very hard for me... And I don't know why it's so hard... Maybe I'm afraid of losing what I already have?

Some people have told me that I should just go ahead and do it, and for a while I did think of just going ahead and heck the outcome... But when I thought of the worse case scenario, I will lose the confidence again... And it seems to be a cycle, repeating itself over and over again...

When can I really decide on what to do? When there is no time left? When I'm going to lose whatever I have? Or when? I really don't know... How I wish there is some sign for me, to let me know what I should do...

This is not the time to think about this kinda things, but then, who can blame me? This issue has been bothering me since day one, and I will want it to end soon... I'm tired from all the thinking... Will you just give me a sign?

Went to watch "Fame" over the weekends... Didn't think much about the show before, but when i left the cinema, i was quite amazed... And it turned out to be a nice and inspiring movie.....

Mayday Concert 2009

Those who went to Mayday "DNA" concert today will totally not forget the experience... Coming from someone who is not a Mayday fan, this should be pretty reliable...
Indeed, Mayday has won me over after today's concert... They managed to make everyone really "high" THROUGHOUT the concert... I really mean throughout... Almost the wholes stadium of people were standing and rocking to their songs... It was really an amazing sight, and you got to wonder, why do they have such a BIG appeal? lol... And the effects of the concert was great as well, not to mention the singing and the pretty faces...
All in all, after watching two Mayday concerts through work, I would conclude that Mayday concerts are worth paying the money for....

Sometimes, I really wonder what your reaction will be if I told you the truth... I am really curious to know how you will react... But I still have not found the courage to say it out... People may call me a coward, but I don't care.... It's really not easy at all.... There are many things and many areas to consider....
How I wish things would be much clearer to me.... How I wish you would give me some signs to tell me what to do....
I may keep on wishing, but ultimately, I still have to come back to reality... And the reality is harsh... The reality is unclear....
Give me a sign... So that I know what to do....

Celebrated my 21st at Aranda Country Club over the weekends... Really had a lot of fun!! Saturday were with my close friends throughout the different stages of my life so far... Some of them came early to help me decorate the place, which I really appreciated. Some of them came straight from camp, even though they are really tired, but they still came. And I'm really touched. And I received a lot of presents and had lots of fun hanging with all my friends. I really liked all the gifts, and will definitely use them well. Thanx everyone for your wishes and presents!!!

Armadas Training...

Today we had a really good training... Hadn't had such an enjoyable training in a while.... The reason? We have a good coach today!! Haha...
Somehow, the training today gave me a feeling of the team in Hot Shot. It felt as though my team today is same as the Pi Li Wolves... Got a nice coach, spirited players, fun atmosphere, good playups... Everything felt good today... Hopefully every week will be as good...

Haven't been updating for a while... Been quite busy with work, trainings, and what-nots...
Anyway, shall share some things that i came across...

Li Brothers' Concert

Went to work for the Li Brothers' concert (李伟菘李偲菘好友音乐派对） today... Can say that i totally didn't regret working for this show... Though it's the exam period...
The reason... I got to watch my idol LIVE!!! WOAH!!! haha... Show Luo came and sang two songs, and it was really very very nice listening to him sing live... Everytime i watch his performance, he never fails to amaze and attract me all over again... And after watching him live today i liked him all the more now... lol... And he was very funny on the stage, and really livened the atmosphere... Also, a good thing to note is that he received one of the loudest applauses when he came out... This showed his popularity... haha.... Too bad i was working, so can't enjoy myself to the max... But able to see him live is good enough... haha... Really love him... Even more after today...

Had a bbq session with my project mates on Wednesday... i know... Exams are starting next week, but still, we need to relax once in a while right? haha...
Anyway, i totally enjoyed myself that day, all the food, music, booze, games... Totally had fun... I think my groupmates are the best groupmates you can ever find... Fun, exciting, friendly... Totally enjoyed their company for the night... They left at about 4.30am, and that is after drinking for one whole night....
Took a few pictures during the bbq... shall share some other time... Alright, time to go sleep... Gotta go airport and study at 10am...

A Miracle?

Did some things this week that i never would have imagined myself doing in the past... On sunday, i cleaned my room in hall, and even went to the extent of sweeping, mopping and vacuuming the whole room. And today, i just cooked macaroni for dinner for Huiyi, Sarah, myself and pam. The down side was that it was quite hot in the pantry, and i had to cook everything on my own. Even though Huiyi offered to help a bit, but she was a bit noisy and impatient... lol... But appreciated her help though... The good thing was everyone of them said that it was nice... haha... looks like i have a talent for cooking eh? lol...

Haven't updated for quite a while. Been busy with projects, reports, and other things... Actually i'm still quite busy now, but taking a short break from all the work to just recall what went through in my life.
Had car for the past week, made me realise that life is really convenient with a car. But not with it's own cons... Shall not elaborate on that...
Anyway, went to eat Swensen's with the softball team after training yesterday, to spend the $100 voucher given to the male team. Either i was really hungry or the food is really nice... I finished my dinner quite fast... lol... had earthquake for dessert too... But i still wasn't full after finishing my meal... lol... Been eating a lot recently... Like I ate two lunches and two dinners on Wednesday, and was still hungry when i came back... lol... Anyway, after dinner, sent sarah and huiyi back... On the way we discussed about some things... Again, shall not elaborate...

Went to watch Look for a Star on Friday... Was a really nice show which i totally enjoyed throughout... Andy Lau and Shu Qi are two of the best looking people in the world! But that's not what i like about the movie... At least not totally...
The movie has a great plot, nice and meaningful lines, and a story to tell... It's a show worth paying $10 for... And maybe more... Share with you quotes from the show which i found meaningful...

Great Dinner!

Guy's softball finals today... Just this close to winning gold... haiz...
Went to Marina Barrage for dinner at Seven Stories restaurant... Great service, nice food... totally recommend that restaurant!
Anyway a little update on the reunion dinner yesterday. Went to JP NTUC in the evening on siyuan's bike, and met dawen there to buy the ingredients for steamboat. Then we cabbed down to dawen's house. Helped prepared the food, and the people started coming one by one. Ate really a lot, and everybody was quite full, but we still could not finish all the food... Went back to school to watch the guy's hockey semis match. It was a pity they lost after coming this far, but their fighting spirit was commendable. Went back to dawen's house after that, and we played wii. Really damn fun, thinking of buying now... haha... Played till about 5am, then went back to hall. Waited a while for Huiyi to come and borrow the contact lens solution, then went to sleep at about 5.30am... Woke up at about 8am to watch the girls and guys softball matches...
These few days had been good... Suddenly, i dunno why... Not that i mind, but just curious why...

Chinese New Year 2009

Been a while since my last entry... Time seems to pass really fast.... Before i knew it chinese new year is over just like that...
this chinese new year had been slightly different for me... Those who know me well will know why... Tried not to really think about it, but came across an old photo album today, and saw a picture of the two of them... Really brought back memories... And i just realised how much i really missed them, even though i didn't say it, even though i didn't show it, but... ya, i really really miss them so much...
Come to think of it, there has been some regrets for me... Not spending enough time with them, not listening to them when they just need a listening ear... and when i saw my grandma on monday, some thoughts ran through my mind too... she comes to my house at least once a month on sundays, but recently, at least since i entered uni, when she comes visiting, i'm either asleep or already outside... it's been a while since i last saw her... And when i finally see her on monday, i just realised how much she has changed, and i never knew... she used to be so fit and strong, and now she cannot even walk for long... she used to shop for new year goodies and carry them back home all by herself, but this time she can only carry little by little... and her teeth are slowly dropping off... Are these signs to tell? i really don't know... i'm feeling afraid... really... afraid that i might experience the same thing again... the feelings i had for my grandpa's case... i'm afraid i no longer know how to face it... i'm afraid i no longer have the strength...
This has been an emo post, even though it shouldn't be, but i just can't help it... this chinese new year has really been different for me...

Been very busy since the start of the holidays... Quite ironic since holidays should be free... But I'm enjoying myself...
Busy with all the hall activities.. Interhall games, appreciation dinner meetings... IHG basketball has ended for my hall, so has volleyball, so that's two games down.... Hockey and softball left... Hopefully we can go all the way for softball... I really think we have the chance... the one sport i'm confident in...

Annual Camp: Batamania!!!

Went to Batam for 3 days and 2 nights for our Annual Camp. Totally enjoyed myself... Now i understand that it is not the place where u go but the company that matters... lol... Though the highlight of the camp was in day 2, but the other 2 days i had a lot of fun too... thanks to my very fun group of friends... Spent the afternoon of day 1 at a shopping mall... There weren't a lot to shop there, so we decided to go to the arcade to while time. Played the basketball machine, and it was a lot of fun! I won almost everybody, only losing to SY. Exchanged the tickets for a basketball keychain, and everybody had one...
Day 2 was supposedly the most fun of the trip. Morning is paintball, where we had a lot of fun shooting each other... haha... The place was really like a war ground, in the middle of nowhere in a jungle. It was really very real, and i managed to shoot 3 people out in my 2nd game. Afternoon was Cableski. Though i didn't play, but i totally enjoyed myself too...
Day 3 we had a massage session in the morning. I went for the body scrub massage. Though it was quite painful, but was really quite comfortable after the massage... Went shopping after that, and we watched "Twilight" at the shopping mall. Spent some time at the arcade too, playing bumper cars and the basketball machine again. The bumper cars was really fun! haha... Came back to Singapore after a seafood dinner...
Overall, the trip was quite fun and enjoyable. The things there are really cheap, especially food. We had zhi char for supper, and for about 5 dishes we each only had to pay about S$3! lol.. really cheap... and the food is really nice too... Movie in Batam is only S$1.50... Much cheaper than in Singapore... haha...

Softball Camp

Finally, softball camp is over! Not that the softball camp is not fun, but it's a bit too tiring... lol... Camp started on Friday morning, at 730am. Went to the SRC field to train early in the morning. End training about 12pm to 1230pm, went back hall for a bath, and lunch, had a one hour break, then it's back to training at 3pm. Trained all the way to 7pm, then again went back for a bath and dinner, before having "movie screening" when we watched videos on baseball and softball plays and learnt from them. Everyone was rather tired, but some of the videos were quite exciting...
The schedule for the second day is about the same, except that the "movie screening" is changed to a tutorial, where we were tested on the different plays and the rules of IHG softball. Ended about 1130pm, went back to sleep, and again, 9am training today. Trained till about 1230pm, then break camp. Went to Nihonmura at Jurong West stadium for lunch, before heading home finally. All in all, the camp was fun, but tiring at the same time. I learnt a lot from the camp, things that will help in our IHG tournament.
Friendly next week right after we come back from AC, on Friday. Training again the following Wednesday, RHE on Thursday where we have a one hour game, then training again on Friday. Going to have an overdose of softball this holiday... Not that i mind though... haha...

Exams Over!!!

Finally, the long awaited day is here! My exams are finally over! haha... Suddenly i felt free, relieved of any burdens...
Didn't waste anytime enjoying my freedom... Went home after exams, caught a breather, and went out again...
Had steamboat with Aiting, Marilyn and co. at Bugis. Totally enjoyed myself, though i was quite tired...
Then drove them back to Pasir Ris, and picked Huiyi up. Initially due to some miscommunications, there were only 2 of us left for the midnight movie. Then she was saying not fun anymore, so we decided to go for supper. In the car, she called Sarah, and in the end we all decided to go for the movie. Was already 1105pm, so we went to pick Sarah up, and rushed down to the Cathay for the 1135pm show. Due to my superb driving skills, haha, we reached at 1130pm, just in time for The Beverly Hills Chihuahua.
To my amazement, the show is actually quite nice, though i do not understand how funny the dogs are, and Huiyi beside me was like laughing at the dogs even when they're hanging on to their dear lives on the train... lol...
Anyway after the movie we drove back to Pasir Ris Dr 6 for supper. Had a plate of nice carrot cake and my favourite Lemon tea, before sending them back home and going home. Reached home at about 3.30am, was really tired and just fell asleep... Woke up at about 4pm today... haha... And going back hall tonight... Not that i love my hall so much, but there's softball camp from tomorrow to sunday night, and it starts at 730am tomorrow, so i have no choice but to go back tonight... lol... What a start to my post-exam life...
Anyway this holiday is going to be very busy... First softball camp tomorrow, ends on sunday... Monday there's bball training, Tues heading off to Batam, coming back on thurs... Then all the IH trainings, and RHE on the 11th... And IHG starts right after... haha... Before IHG ends it'll already be the start of the new term.. lol... No time to really rest... Not that i mind though... haha... Gotta seriously enjoy myself...

Today was a productive day for me... Went for meeting in the afternoon, came back hall, then went to eat dinner with Huiyi at canteen a at abt 7pm. Then we went to old canteen a to study... went to ah fang at abt 1030, then ate my second dinner till abt 11 plus, then went back to old canteen a to study at abt 12.30... just came back, at around 4.30... Sleeping for a few hours before going for lunch... studied quite a lot today... almost covered the whole book for HR consulting...

Went for a midnight movie with the usual group. Watched High school musical, and after the show ended at around 1 plus am, we planned to go Bedok 85 for supper/breakfast. But when we went there, the stalls were closed, so we had no choice but to go to another place. Huiyi suggested Pasir Ris Dr 6, so we went there in the end. Finally managed to get some food at abt 4am. After filling our stomachs, we went home. Reached home at about 5am, and slept till 2pm. Just woke up, had lunch, and am now trying to do some work which is due today. Haven't done a single thing...

Didn't really do much yesterday... Went for lesson at 830am, had lunch with Huiyi, Kang Fu and Wei Chen at 230 at canteen a, then came back hall to sleep. Woke up only when Huiyi came to wake me up, then went for soccer training. After training, took a bath, then went to Huiyi's room for dinner. Drove out to buy porridge for Huiyi midway. Don't know what i was doing also, stayed till abt 2am in their room, doing nothing. Wasted my day without studying or doing work. Not a good way to waste time given the exams are coming soon, very soon.

Went to donate blood today with Huiyi. i thought it will be a bit painful, but in the end, it wasn't painful at all. Felt good after the blood donation, though my hand is still feeling a bit weak now... Shall go for future blood donation drives...

Played against Skools Junior yesterday, and managed to score one and assist one... It was a rather good game for me, but not so for the team... We could have drawn or won the game.... But overall i think this season is a big improvement from last season for me... Hopefully there's still next season to come, and i can perform much better... Felt quite sad that the season is over so soon... Now gotta train for my other sports... Can't wait for IHG to come...

This week was supposed to be recess week, but sumhow i ended up staying in hall.... Actually intended to study in hall for the week, but instead was either going for trainings, going out or playing games... Really not productive at all... But kinda enjoyed this week though, got to rest, no lessons, lots of exercise... Quite a fulfilling life in a sense too... and had quite a time too... haha... those who know will understand...
School's starting soon, and time seems to fly very fast... exams coming in about a month and a half's time... then it's going to be a very busy holiday for me... occupied with all the IHGs, Annual Camp and Appreciation Dinner planning.... but still looking forward to holidays... haha.... hope it comes soon...

Played against One West Supernova today, and though i had to wake up damn early to go to Woodlands as the game starts at 10am at RP, i gotta say that i didn't regret it at all... Played a very great game today, scoring one goal too! After the game, the coach praised me again for the good game. It's the second game in a row that he has said that. Felt great.... Last game next week, hopefully it will be as good as these two games...

Played against Springfield Ewoks today.... i personally think it was the best game that i have played in... We had only 8 players, plus a goalie, and the other team had lots of players... But we showed our mental toughness, and showed everyone that numbers don't count everytime... It was a nice game to play in... Was performing at my best today... Felt really good... After the game, the coach said that i was one of the best players in the team... haha... it felt really good, but i felt that there was more that i can do.... hopefully every game can be as enjoyable as this game....

Went for hall 11 Dinner and Dance today, or should i say yesterday... lol... Had lots of fun in the event, and took lots of photos with my friends... Just came back from camp today... Really enjoyed myself throughout the camp. Went to Indoor Stadium for work today... for Cao Ge concert... Overall, i think i'm impressed by his vocals, and the stage is special... Before the concert, i didn't really like him, but after watching the concert, i think he really sings well, and has got the talents... Hearing him sing live is one amazing thing. If given the chance again, i'll still want to come to the concert... though i'm not going to pay so much for the tickets though... haha... Free concert while working...

Going to be very busy soon... Gym tomorrow, then gotta go home and pack my stuff, for friday and saturday. Early morning lesson on friday, then going straight for my seniors' camp, which ends on saturday. After less than 1 full day of rest, i gotta rush down to Tampines Sports Hall on sunday at 9am for my first league game. Monday is prayers for my grandpa... Damn packed!

Had floorball training today... Was in rather good form today, most of the shots went in, dribbling was fine, and passing was quite accurate... Got in form just in time for the league... Thank god...
As usual, I will be playing the center position for my line, and coach said today "the center is the captain of the line"... Haiz... Sounds like a mountain-high task... I have to first identify the player i have to mark, then make sure i dun lose him/her, then look around and see if my players are each marking their own player,and finally intercept all the passes that come down from the center... How many pairs of eyes do i have? lol... Lucky for me i have been playing in my position for some time now, and during training today everything felt well, so hopefully everything goes well during the league games...
Can't wait for the league to start though... Looking forward to flying in the court, being the one to orchestrate the attacks and command the defense, being in the center of action... Gotta start working on my fitness, and train my knee so that it will not give way through the games... Praying hard that my old injury in my knee will not come back to haunt me at the wrong time... Please let me be fit for all the matches!!!

Have been going out these two days with friends... Yesterday, went out with my hall friends to miss clarity cafe for lunch, then went to vivocity to walk around, and watched "The Other Boleyn Girl"... Was quite a literature-ish show, and the most exciting part to me was the execution, so ya...

Went to meet up with the usual gang at city hall for lunch, and Sebe bought us all something from India... So touched... lol... After that went to Indoor Stadium to work for the Mayday concert...
The concert was really good, considering that i'm not a big fan of theirs, even I myself were enjoying the concert...
